The Evangelistic work for Sherpa’s started many years ago, it activated the necessity to translate Bible into the Sherpa language. During the years many Heroes of Faith has been working this project. Among them some are here this world and some are taken by God.

During The bible translation Sherpa fellowship began with 1993 in Korean church with a small group of Sherpa 5 to 7, different missionary encourage us very much among them Sang Young and Helen Lee Korea , David smith from USA and John Beynon are involve that time. In 1994 from India Timothy Dorji Sherpa came being a pastor and help us to teaching God’s word, he works 5 years among the Sherpa group. Many People started to pray for Sherpa fellowship and service is every week.
Sherpa fellowship in Sherpa Language with vision to bring Sherpa people in his kingdom but there were many different tribe people started to participate in Sherpa fellowship, it is not easy for us to say that this is only Sherpa, because our Almighty God love all the people and tribe, so we handover the fellowship to another Nepali Pastor. Now the church call “RTN” church, which has more than 1200 member and still some of our Sherpa leaders serving that church. In 1995 we are first mission trip in Solukhumbu, which is our Sherpa homeland with vision of bring Sherpa people in Christ, and after few month later Sherpa missionary were sent to do the ministry at Solukhumbu, but there also other Nepali tribe came to Christ and they grown up in number day by day, Now days there are two churches and different fellowship was going on.
Sherpa who came to Know Christ again they started Sherpa fellowship near Mahangkal Buddha Kathmandu twice a month from 2001, Our almighty God heard our prayer, so Sherpa believer grow in spiritually increase few numbers and also after few years Sherpa believer felt that we must need own church and do every week service and fellowship, so that we earnest prayer 2007 we established Sherpa Church in Chahabil, Kathmandu. During that time we make committee to serve the Lord and Chhiring Sherpa be a pastor of first Sherpa church and he resign from pastoral ministry 2011. After that Pemba Sherpa was anointed as Sherpa Church new pastor by Church committee and leaders. Till then entire leader& pastor work tougher for reached the Sherpa people with earnest fasting prayer Sherpa believer grow slowly day by day, now we are about 90 member and regular are 40-50 sherpa believer gather together and serving the Lord in our own Sherpa language, but around Nepal more than 5000 sherpa believers in Nepal and these are very few among 800000 Sherpas but this is really great answer of our prayer.
In 2011 we Sherpa church organized a Sherpa conference and invited whole Nepal all the Sherpa believers and it is really blessings for us to be more strong in the lord, and same year we decided to make a committee to serve our Lord and Network among Sherpa believers all over the Nepal, and we had register as a Ngo call “Sherpa Christian association of Nepal”, 2013 also we conduct Sherpa conference that was also really blessed and encourage for all the Sherpa believers and same way this year also we had Sherpa conference going on for two days. We need your valuable prayer and support the we could spread God word to the Sherpa land all the unreached area.

- Sherpa Church was start as Church begin of January 2007 with Vision of saving Sherpa people in Christ.
- We want to see as mountain covered by snow one day all Himalayan or Highland places will be fulfill with His people and Churches and worship in Trinity God.
- Sharing and proclaiming the Gospel of the Kingdom of God to among unreached Sherpa and all Nations all over world.
- Training and facilitate to empower all Sherpa Leaders and believers spiritually for matured leaders and believers for Healthy church.
- Networking among entire Sherpa Christian globally and for “Jesus for Sherpa“ slogan and empower them mentally, phishyically, financially, spiritually and lead them and encourage them to put end vision and Impact.
- Mission and missionary sending beyond Sherpa and beyond Nepal.
- Our vision is to empower and nourish all Sherpa believers by word of God, so they can disciple each other.
- Our expectation and vision is to see Impact of Gospel is to see Healthy community with better education, prosperity, development of entire daily base issues, brotherhood, spiritually, remove superstitious culture holistically.
